Job Responsibilities
- Good exposure in manufacturing technologies like Plastics, Sheet metal, Casting, Injection molding, forging and fabrication
- Knowledge of Mirror/ Optics design & costing
- Knowledge/ relevant work experience in PCB / PCBA / Harness / Sensors Costing
- Knowledge of Heat & Surface Treatments process/ costing
- Should able to identify alternate manufacturing technologies and alternate materials.
- Should be good at Optimizing the best manufacturing process techniques.
- -Strong background in VAVE & bench marking.
- Knowledge on conventional and CNC machines, manufacturing processes & time calculations.
- Experience in product estimation and costing tools like DFMA, Costimator, SEER Galorath & aPriori will be added advantage.
- Carryout should costing and Design to Cost analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Legacy
- Recommend improvements to cost competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelors in mechanical/ Electro Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-8yrs in shop floor experience on process and working as should costing engineers is mandatory No direct should costing engineers are encouraged for this role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
