About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As a Short-form Videographer, you will own capture for mobile-first storytelling that makes every DROPZ moment feel premium, fast, and culturally sharp. This is a 0 to 100 environment where taste, speed, and consistency matter daily, you will take accountability for output quality, build repeatable on-set systems, and help shape a visual language that compounds with every drop.

What You'll Do

  • Capture high-volume, premium short-form footage for drops, products, creator collaborations, BTS, and events, delivering platform-native clips that feel cinematic while still optimized for rapid turnaround and retention on mobile.
  • Translate briefs into clear shot lists and coverage plans, aligning with the creative and marketing teams so every shoot has intent, strong hooks, and the exact assets editors need to ship fast.
  • Own lighting fundamentals across indoor and outdoor setups, using available light, practicals, and compact lighting to maintain consistent skin tones, true-to-life product color, and a recognizable DROPZ mood.
  • Execute stable handheld and controlled gimbal movement with strong framing, capturing sequences that cut cleanly into punchy reels, TikToks, and stories without feeling noisy or over-stabilized.
  • Capture clean scratch audio when needed for moments, reactions, and dialogue, monitoring levels and environment noise so footage is usable in edits without heavy fixes or reshoots.
  • Run reliable camera workflows, including media management, file naming, backups, and basic logging, ensuring footage is organized so editors can pull selects quickly and nothing goes missing.
  • Shoot product feature footage with a quality bar for detail, texture, and fit, delivering multiple angles, motions, and focal variations that make items feel collectible and worth the hype.
  • Cover street and culture moments with good judgment, capturing authentic reactions and atmosphere while staying respectful, permission-aware, and aligned to brand safety and creator comfort.
  • Collaborate closely with editors and the creative team, reviewing selects, understanding performance signals, and adjusting composition, pacing, and hook coverage based on what consistently performs.
  • Maintain and prep gear for consistent execution, tracking batteries, storage, lenses, stabilization, and quick fixes so production never slows down due to preventable technical gaps.

Who You Are

  • You have 12 to 24 months of hands-on short-form shooting experience and can share a portfolio where framing, movement, and rhythm clearly support brand storytelling, not just pretty shots.
  • You work fast without losing taste, making smart on-set tradeoffs while still protecting a premium look, clean coverage, and consistent quality under tight timelines.
  • You understand mobile-first composition, safe areas, hooks, and retention patterns, and you shoot with the edit in mind so footage cuts cleanly into high-performance formats.
  • You are confident with lighting basics and can adapt quickly using available light and compact setups to maintain consistent output across locations, time-of-day changes, and mixed environments.
  • You can choose the right camera movement for the moment, balancing handheld energy with controlled gimbal work so shots feel intentional and match the vibe of the story.
  • You are organized and dependable with footage, following clean naming, backups, and handoff habits so editors and stakeholders can find what they need instantly.
  • You communicate clearly, take feedback without defensiveness, and collaborate with low friction, keeping shoots smooth and output improving week over week.
  • You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, bring daily intensity, take ownership of outcomes, and actively contribute to a positive culture where speed and quality can coexist.
  • You track culture, fashion, and internet storytelling, and you can translate trends into DROPZ-specific visuals that feel fresh and original, not generic or copy-paste.
  • You are comfortable being hands-on across shoots, creators, products, and events, showing up prepared, proactive, and accountable for the final on-set output.

What We Offer

  • High ownership work where your footage directly shapes DROPZ's visual identity and cultural perception, with real responsibility and trust as you prove consistency and taste.
  • A fast, high-standard environment where you level up by shipping often, reviewing results with the team, and building stronger instincts for hooks, coverage, and on-set decisions.
  • Growth by building from 0 to 100 together, where long-term contributors earn bigger moments, deeper creative ownership, and the chance to help define how DROPZ looks and feels.
  • Close collaboration with a culture-forward team, where your ideas are heard, your craft is respected, and you are expected to bring solutions, not just footage.
