Job Description

Okay Done runs social for some of the biggest names in the country, including Royal Challengers Bengaluru, OnePlus, VRL, Google, Bengaluru City Police, Heineken, and Health Care Global. This role sits entirely on RCB.

Before you scroll further, a fair warning.

RCB has one of the most passionate fanbases in world sport. Every edit we put out is watched, judged, shared, and memed by millions of fans, often within minutes of going live. There is no hiding a lazy cut here.

So we're not looking for a good editor. We're looking for the editor other editors follow. The one whose reels make people ask who made this

Low-effort applications will never be considered. A Drive folder of wedding films, one-line answers, and please refer to my portfolio will not be considered.

Read the JD all the way through. If you're not 100% sure you want this, close the tab. No hard feelings. But if you are, go all in. This form is your first edit for us. Make it one we can't skip.

The role, in one line

Make RCB's feed the one every other sports team studies.

Overview

We're hiring a Short-Form Video Editor who lives and breathes reels. Hype edits, motion graphics, text animations, AI-powered visuals, and every new format the internet invents next week.

You'll turn practice footage, player content, BTS, and match moments into short-form content that stops the scroll and gets shared in every fan group. On match days you'll work at the speed of the game. Between matches you'll build the bigger, crafted pieces fans remember all season.

This is a full-time role in Bengaluru.

What you'll do

Edit

• Cut high-volume short-form content: Reels, Shorts, match clips, player features, fan edits, and trend formats.

• Build hype edits with sharp pacing, beat-synced cuts, speed ramps, and real energy.

• Turn edits around in minutes on match days, and create multiple variations (hooks, durations, formats) fast.

Motion & type

• Design motion graphics, kinetic typography, and text animations that feel native to the feed.

• Use tracking, masking, transitions, and overlays to make ordinary footage look premium.

• Keep everything on-brand while pushing how far the brand can go.

AI

• Use AI tools for animation, image-to-video, generative visuals, upscaling, rotoscoping, and cleanup.

• Create basic AI animations and stylised sequences that would be impossible to shoot.

• Keep testing new tools and bring the useful ones into the team's workflow.

Trends

• Spot new formats, audio, and edit styles early, and adapt them for RCB before they peak.

• Know the difference between a trend that fits the team and one that doesn't.

Collaborate

• Work closely with content strategists, social managers, and videographers.

• Take a brief and make it better than what was imagined.

Who we're looking for

• 3+ years editing short-form content, ideally for sports, entertainment, or creator-led brands.

• Expert in Premiere Pro and After Effects (non-negotiable). CapCut, DaVinci, Blender, or C4D is a bonus.

• A portfolio full of hype edits, motion graphics, and text animations you made yourself.

• Hands-on with AI tools (Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, Pika, Midjourney, Topaz, or similar), not just curious about them.

• Obsessive about pacing, sound design, music, and timing.

• Comfortable under real-time pressure without dropping quality.

• Follows cricket, or is ready to start living it.
