Shopify Operations Head

Create and manage Shopify product listings, including images and product descriptions, and handle back-end operations such as keeping pricing sheets, supplier data, and inventory accurate and up to date. This includes updating tracking numbers for current orders so customers receive correct shipping information and orders move without delays. The goal is to keep the store running smoothly without founder involvement.

• Full-time role 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
• This role has low flexibility for the first 6 months. The focus in this phase is consistency, learning SOPs, and building operational reliability.
• After 6 months, flexible hours unlock based on performance, trust, and autonomy. Flexibility is earned, not assumed.
• Working hours must overlap with Australian business hours (AEST) for coordination and reviews.

BLCKLINE Automotive is a fast-growing automotive ecommerce brand focused on high-quality aftermarket parts for the Australian market. We operate in a performance-driven environment with a strong emphasis on clean systems, accurate data, and customer trust.

You will work one-on-one with the founder, supporting the core operations of a fast-growing automotive business based in Melbourne, Australia. This is a high-ownership role with direct exposure to how the business is built and scaled.

• Shopify product listings end-to-end (creation, edits, images, descriptions)
• Back-end data accuracy (pricing sheets, supplier data, inventory)
• Daily tracking number updates for orders zero misses
• SOP-driven execution to keep operations running without founder involvement

**Experience Level (**Entry to intermediate level role)

12 years of relevant experience is preferred, but not mandatory. If you demonstrate strong execution, attention to detail, and alignment with our culture, exceptions can be made.

• Excel / Google Sheets/ Notion: mandatory
• You must understand basic formulas, data entry discipline, filters, and structured sheets. This is ops work, not copy-paste chaos.
• Shopify: preferred, not mandatory
• Prior experience with products or orders is a plus, but strong learners are acceptable.
• Canva: basic working knowledge
• Able to handle simple image edits for product listings.
• AI tools: required
• Comfortable prompting GenAI for:
• Product descriptions (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Visual ideas or edits (image generation / enhancement tools)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs exactly.

• Hungry and performance-driven
• Comfortable with accountability and reviews
• Obsessed with accuracy and clean systems
• Able to execute without constant supervision
• Motivated by growth, not fixed ceilings
