Role Summary
Seeking a Shopify Lead Developer to lead development and delivery of Shopify / Shopify Plus solutions, with hands-on experience in migrations from platforms like commerce tools or VTEX.
Years of Experience - 10 to 13
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of Shopify / Shopify Plus projects
- Drive migration activities from commerce tools, VTEX, or other commerce platforms to Shopify
- Guide developers on best practices, coding standards, and solution design
- Collaborate with architects, UX, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of the Shopify platform
Must Have Skill
Shopify, VTEX Commerce Platform
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus development
- Experience in commerce platform migration projects
- Proficiency in Shopify APIs, Liquid, and third-party integrations
- Solid understanding of eCommerce flows: catalog, checkout, payments
- Ability to mentor developers and lead technical discussions
Good to Have
- Exposure to headless or Hydrogen-based Shopify setups
- Experience with large or multi-region commerce implementations
