About the Role:
We are looking for ahighly skilled Shopify Developer in a Lead/Architect capacityto join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience withShopify Plus,B2B implementations, andHeadless architecture using Hydrogen or Next.js. This is a strategic role where you will lead complex Shopify projects from concept to deployment, ensuring scalable and high-performance solutions for global brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the implementation of multiple Shopify Plus storefronts, including B2B use cases.
- Design and implementheadless commercearchitectures usingHydrogen,Next.js, and Shopify APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to define and deliver robust eCommerce experiences.
- Own the end-to-end technical roadmap for Shopify-based implementations including infrastructure decisions, CI/CD setup, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide development teams; review code and ensure development best practices.
- Implement custom themes and apps or integrate third-party tools via Shopify APIs and GraphQL.
- Provide technical leadership in scaling storefronts for high traffic, global users, and complex B2B workflows.
- Stay updated on Shopify's ecosystem, including new features, tools, and trends in headless commerce.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Proven success in leadingmultiple Shopify project implementations, including custom theme and app development.
- Deep understanding ofB2B commerce implementationson Shopify Plus (e.g., customer groups, tiered pricing, custom workflows).
- 3+ years of experience with Headless Shopify architectureusingHydrogen,Next.js, or similar frameworks.
- Strong command overLiquid, Shopify's templating language.
- Solid expertise inJavaScript, React.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience in optimizing performance, SEO, and accessibility for storefronts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
