We operate in the Healthcare & Outpatient Clinic sector, delivering patient-facing clinical services alongside digital health offerings and an e-commerce storefront for wellness products and telemedicine packages. We are building a reliable, secure, and user-friendly digital presence that supports patient engagement, online sales, and on-premise IT operations across our clinic locations in India.
Primary Title (standardized): Shopify Developer & IT Specialist On-site (India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Shopify storefront: implement theme customizations using Shopify Liquid, manage templates, and ensure consistent brand UX across web and mobile.
- Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party services (payment gateways, subscription/recurring billing, analytics, fulfillment) and build or supervise custom app/webhook integrations via APIs.
- Deliver front-end implementations and performance optimizations (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to improve page speed, accessibility, SEO, and conversion rates.
- Manage deployments, version control, and release processes using Git and Shopify CLI; maintain staging/production workflows and rollback plans.
- Provide on-site IT systems administration and support: network troubleshooting, DNS & SSL management, workstation setup, backups, and day-to-day vendor coordination for hardware and connectivity.
- Ensure platform security and compliance best practices for online payments and patient data; maintain documentation, run routine audits, and train clinic staff on basic IT and e-commerce procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven hands-on experience managing and customizing Shopify stores and themes.
- Strong front-end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Practical knowledge of Shopify Liquid and theme development workflows.
- Experience integrating Shopify apps and working with Shopify REST APIs.
- Comfortable with Git-based version control and deployment processes.
- Ability to provide on-site IT support: basic network, DNS/SSL, workstation setup, and vendor coordination.
Preferred
- Experience with Shopify Plus or multi-store setups.
- Linux server administration and basic cloud hosting familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of payment security and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS) and data protection practices for healthcare settings.
