Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and stores.
- Customize Shopify themes, layouts, sections, templates, and functionalities.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
- Develop and integrate Shopify apps, third-party apps, and external services.
- Customize product pages, collection pages, cart, checkout, navigation, filters, and other store functionalities.
- Optimize website performance, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and website errors.
- Manage Shopify product uploads, collections, variants, tags, metafields, and store settings.
- Implement and maintain payment gateway, shipping, tracking, analytics, and other required integrations.
- Work on SEO-friendly website structure and technical SEO improvements.
- Integrate Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other tracking tools.
- Perform regular website maintenance, updates, backups, and security checks.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Creative teams to implement landing pages, campaigns, offers, and promotional requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve website conversion rate and overall e-commerce performance.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid
- HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript
- Shopify Theme Development & Customization
- Shopify App & API Integration
- Responsive Web Development
- Website Speed & Performance Optimization
- Shopify Admin & Store Management
- Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Experience with Git/version control is an added advantage
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
