Role Overview
We are looking for a Shopify Developer with strong subscription experience who understands the depth and complexity of Shopify ecosystems beyond basic theme customization.
This is a strictly in-office role based in Delhi (Wazirpur). We are looking for someone who can work closely with our team in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Development
- Develop and customize Shopify stores (themes, sections, and apps)
- Convert Figma or design files into pixel-perfect, responsive builds
- Write clean and scalable code using Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Subscription System Expertise (Core Requirement)
- Implement and manage subscription platforms such as Loop, Recharge, or Skio
- Build custom subscription flows, pricing models, and delivery logic
- Handle subscription lifecycle management (pause, skip, cancel, upsell, retention flows)
Advanced Shopify Capabilities
- Work extensively with metafields and metaobjects
- Build custom product logic including bundles, combos, and dynamic pricing
- Handle Shopify limitations and implement effective workarounds
- Experience with Shopify APIs and checkout-level customizations
- Familiarity with Shopify Functions is preferred
AI-Driven Development (Mandatory)
- Actively use AI tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot in development workflows
- Use AI for debugging, optimization, and improving development speed
- Demonstrate an AI-first approach to problem-solving
Integrations and Automation
- Integrate payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, and Shopify Payments
- Work on shipping logic, logistics integrations, and order workflows
- Integrate third-party APIs and resolve conflicts or performance issues
- Contribute to automation flows related to subscriptions, retention, and customer lifecycle
Performance and Optimization
- Optimize page speed and performance
- Improve user experience and conversion rates
- Collaborate with marketing teams on A/B testing and funnel optimization
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
- Must have worked on at least 1015 live Shopify websites
- Strong experience with Shopify subscription systems (mandatory)
- Deep understanding of Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, and metafields
- Experience handling complex Shopify use cases and custom logic
- Must be based in Delhi or willing to relocate immediately
- Comfortable working full-time in-office
Good to Have
- Experience with Shopify Hydrogen or headless commerce
- Experience working with international clients (Canada, US, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SEO, CRO, and email automation systems
