Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify-based eCommerce websites
- Build custom Shopify themes and features based on client requirements
- Integrate third-party applications and Shopify-supported tools
- Configure payment gateways, shipping settings, and tax modules
- Optimize Shopify stores for performance and page speed
- Implement SEO and conversion optimization best practices
- Convert design layouts into responsive HTML5/CSS3 web pages
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible
- Manage projects independently and deliver quality solutions within timelines
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with Shopify platform and ecosystem
- Expertise in Shopify theme customization and development
- Experience in Shopify custom app development
- Strong command over Shopify Liquid templating language
- Knowledge of Shopify APIs including Storefront, AJAX Cart, and Sections
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
- Good understanding of SCSS/CSS preprocessors
- Experience with jQuery and related JavaScript libraries
- Strong understanding of responsive web development
- Familiarity with W3C standards and web accessibility practices
