Job description
Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
Create and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Design, implement, and manage Shopify Metafields and Metaobjects for structured content and dynamic storefronts
Build reusable sections and blocks leveraging Metaobjects
Integrate third-party apps and develop custom Shopify apps when required
Optimize storefront performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
Work with Shopify Admin, APIs, and webhooks
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Troubleshoot and resolve store, theme, and checkout issues
Collaborate with designers and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Requirements
34 years of proven Shopify development experience
Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Hands-on experience with Metafields, Metaobject definitions, and dynamic sources
Experience working with Shopify APIs and custom app development
Understanding of eCommerce best practices, CRO, and performance optimization
Experience with Git or similar version control systems
