Job Overview
We are looking for aJunior Shopify Backend Developerto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionalities of Shopify stores, working extensively with Shopify APIs, Liquid, and server-side integrations. You will collaborate with our team to build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions that enhance overall store performance and functionality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency inShopify Liquidfor data manipulation and backend logic.(Mandatory)
- Solid experience withShopify Admin API,Storefront API, and webhooks.(Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience withNode.jsorPHPfor backend development and custom app creation.
- Understanding ofGraphQLfor managing and querying Shopify data efficiently.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals for server-side and API-related tasks.
- Experience integratingthird-party APIs, automation workflows, and custom backend modules.
- Knowledge ofGitand version control workflows.
- Basic familiarity with frontend (HTML/CSS/React.js) is a plus but not mandatory.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the backend architecture of Shopify stores.
- Build custom Shopify apps, automation tools, and integrations using APIs and webhooks.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
- Integrate third-party services to extend store functionalities.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Shopify applications.
