Job Description

About Libi & Daughters

Libi & Daughters is a London-based luxury skincare brand operating across the UK and Europe. We are looking for a hands-on Tech & E-commerce Lead who can own the technology requirements of a growing D2C business. This is not a pure software development role. We need someone technically strong who understands how technology, e-commerce, CRM, automation, data and AI come together to run a D2C business.

What you'll own:

  • Own and manage our Shopify ecosystem, including website updates, apps, integrations, checkout and ongoing improvements.
  • Make front-end website changes and coordinate more complex development when required.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integrations between Shopify and tools across CRM, email, WhatsApp, analytics and operations.
  • Work with tools such as Klaviyo, Trengo, Make/Zapier, Google Analytics and other D2C platforms.
  • Build and improve automations across customer communication, post-purchase journeys, internal operations and reporting.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools that can improve workflows, customer experience and team productivity.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues across the business and find practical solutions quickly.
  • Execute new technology projects from identifying the right tool through integration and implementation.
  • Work independently and take the overall ownership of tech stack.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a D2C/e-commerce company.
  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify, including themes, apps, integrations and the Shopify backend.
  • Comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Strong engineering fundamentals are important.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, analytics and no-code/low-code tools.
  • Good understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows and automation.
  • Strong understanding of current AI tools and how they can be applied to real business workflows.
  • Able to independently research a problem, select the right technology and execute the solution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good technical judgement.

Who this role is best suited for

  • Someone who has worked close to the technology side of a D2C/e-commerce business and enjoys solving different kinds of problems rather than working only on one engineering product.
  • You should be comfortable moving from fixing a Shopify issue, to setting up an automation, to evaluating a new AI tool, to integrating a CRM workflow.
