Work closely with the appointed 4PL service provider and factories to coordinate day-to-day shipment operations and ensure timely execution.
Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers on shipment bookings, schedules, documentation, and other shipping-related matters.
Handle the full spectrum of shipping and trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Letters of Credit (L/C) documentation and negotiation, and other relevant documents for bank and customer submission.
Ensure all shipping documents and transactions comply with customer requirements, contractual terms, L/C requirements, and relevant import/export regulations.
Coordinate closely with internal departments and factory, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.
Coordinate and resolve shipment discrepancies, documentation issues, and logistics-related claims with relevant internal and external parties.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent qualification in logistics/shipping or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
Experience in preparing a full set of shipping documentation is a prerequisite.
Knowledgeable and experienced in Logistics operations involving the movement of goods through various export modes, including bulk, containers, flex tanks, and ISO tanks.
Knowledgeable and experienced in Incoterms, Letter of Credit transactions (UCP 600), and Free Trade Agreements applications.
Knowledge of requirements in Dangerous Goods shipments and labeling would be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) and SAP experience is preferred.
