Job description
Purpose of the role-
- To ensure the smooth functionality of shipping operations at unit/ Plant level , coordinating internal and external, people workforce management
Role & responsibilities -
- Business- Dispatch Adherence-
- Dispatch ordered Qty by 7 am in morning of next day , Order which Place before 9 PM ,(Pendency Not More than 2% of Clear Orders at 7am of next Morning)Orders received after 9 PM supposed to be dispatch by or before 12 am next day. Dispatch STO within 24 HR
- DBR's Load Size and Sourcing mapping in SAP with target of saving in Logistic Cost by Rs. 0.75 per C/s (2) OFR- TT-99.5% & MT -99%
- Platform System-Signage Board/live Volume Display System Implentation in unit
- Adherence 100% of Vehicle In/Out Policy and complaince of Safety Norms
- Increase Direct Loads from Plant to DB (Increase 5% from previous year)/and Increase One Way Trip By 3%
- Documentation Verification includes-
- Governance- Inventory Management: SAP month end report & Freshness, Gate register counter sign confirmation submission by 1st of every month to ensure no pending Sales Return, MIGO & Empty RR.
- Business- POD Collection & System Update: Implementation of Intiative -Use of Donnage Bag/PPE Sheets and Interlayer sheet and compliance 100% STO dispatches with use of Interlayer Sheet/Donnage bags
- Business- Inbound FG and Inventory Scorecard & Reporting: Loading Management : Minimise Vehicle Holding Time in plant/Depot by maintaining proper FIFO & seprate dedicated deck to increase trips of company/attached
- Business- INFRA Arrangement: Ensure timely availability of Infra - Labour, Forklift Operator and Vehicles in-line with the dispatch plan with close cordination with PAC, Transprot Manager, HR
- People- Workforce Management: Review Team KRA Monthly and share with UCM by 5th of every month
Preferred candidate profile
- General Awareness: Knows the fundamental or general understanding of concepts.
- Working Knowledge: Has broad job knowledge; knows and applies the full range of concepts and practices. Has broad / working knowledge of the subject. Candidate should use these concepts in day to day practices.
- Functional Expert: Candidate is certified functional expert with strong knowledge on concepts.
