Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipping Assistant, based at Mumbai Port. The Shipping Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day shipping and receiving activities, including documentation, cargo handling, and coordination with port authorities. The role involves overseeing packing processes, assisting with forklift operations, and ensuring compliance with shipping procedures. The individual will play a key role in communication, scheduling, and coordination to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Qualifications

• Shipping & Receiving skills, Shipping experience
• GMDSS Certification is must.
• Knowledge of Packing and Forklift Operation
• Strong Communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications in forklift operation or logistics management is a plus
