Our client, a global specialist in energy management and automation, is looking for a Shift In-Charge – Warehouse Operations to manage end-to-end shift activities and drive operational efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage complete shift operations from start to end, including transaction processing, rack maintenance, and VNA activities.
- Monitor manpower deployment, prepare and share shift rosters daily, and ensure optimal resource allocation across 3 shifts.
- Generate and distribute daily attendance reports to track team presence and address gaps promptly.
- Conduct daily SIM (Shift Start/Improvement Meeting) to review previous shift performance, assign tasks, and align on priorities.
- Proactively identify and resolve backlogs (e.g., pending transactions, cycle counts) in a systematic, prioritized manner to minimize delays.
- Ensure adherence to transaction matrix, 5S standards, and safety protocols during all activities.
- Coordinate with rack owners/in-charges for PI audits, inventory checks, and variance resolution.
- Update shift handover notes and escalate critical issues (e.g., unlabeled racks, supplier delays) to management.
Skills Required:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Any Graduate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/shift supervision, preferably in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with WMS/SAP/Oracle transactions, cycle counting, and manpower rostering.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle high-pressure environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of lean warehouse practices and KPI tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reports/rosters.
- Excellent communication for team coordination.
