TCS is hiring for Shift Manager Role
Qualification:-Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) is mandatory.
Location-Mumbai
Operational Functions:
Lead shift operations for FCL, LCL, and Air shipments, ensuring seamless execution aligned with SOPs and service benchmarks.
Oversee full shipment lifecycle coordination: booking, pickup, customs, transit, arrival, and delivery.
Supervise team workflows and KPIs, ensuring optimal productivity and on-time performance.
Act as the first escalation point for operational challenges, guiding swift resolutions.
Promote data accuracy and documentation compliance in internal platforms such as BO and Salesforce.
Monitor communication across the shift, identify gaps, and escalate recurring issues to the Delivery Manager.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and forward thinking.
Financial and Accounting Functions:
Monitor revenue per job and shift to align with departmental profitability goals.
Manage direct and indirect operational costs while maintaining strong cost-per-job efficiency.
Track and optimize revenue-to-expense ratios.
Collaborate with finance to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and closure of shipment files.
Resolve billing discrepancies and support financial audits through proper documentation and compliance adherence.
People Management Functions:
Supervise daily team operations and ensure performance meets KPIs: timeliness, documentation accuracy, communication quality, and
customer satisfaction.
Design and manage shift schedules to maintain near 24/7 operational coverage.
Train, coach, and develop team members; identify improvement areas and address performance gaps.
Handle team escalations or conflicts professionally, reinforcing a performance-driven and collaborative environment.
Work closely with the Delivery Manager on training programs and process improvement initiatives.
