Position : Shift Incharge - Solid Tire
Reports to : Section Head - Solid Tire
Department : Production
Purpose : To achieve Shift production in Solid Tire
S.No Role Indicative Activities
1 Ensure Safety Identification and closure of unsafe condition
Identification and closure of unsafe act
Ensure 100% PPE usage
Provide JSA training to existing operators and New joinees
2 Achieve Shift Production Ensure Product Quality
Avoid shift wise overaged material - Heel Strip, Bead and Compound
Reduce Workaway generation of material
Conduct layer audit for process and product quality
Prepare Shiftwise classification of scrap
Ensure Zero quality accident
Adhere compliance of MHE
Enhance Tire Building Delivery
Ensure Minimum 4 Hrs Input Material availability
Scan Input and output material
Adhere Positional Manpower as per Plan
System Implementation and follow up
Ensure Specified trolley used for movement of material
Follow up for completion of Kanban Board
Maintain 5S in shop floor
Follow up for completion of 3C (Constant quantity,Constant container,Constant location) board
3 Execute Solid Tire Building Cost Optimization activities Track DC (Direct Consumbables) and IDC (Indirect Consumables) cost and highlight to section incharge in case of deviation.
4 Carry out activities related to Employee Engagement Provide Process wise training for operators
Follow up operators for SOP adherance
Provide OPL training to operators
Monitor Employee Involvement in JH activities
Monitor Employee Involvement in Idea generation
5 Execute activities for Implementation of TPM & TQM Update Circle board , Conduct Circle meeting , Conduct JH step audit
Implement Kaizen as per plan
Pass entries in CMMS for breakdowns
Complete QCC Project as per plan
Update PD DRM and conduct Tire - 1 meeting
