Job Description

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shift Executive for our Northstar, Amli operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of production shifts, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing output within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Oversee and manage daily production operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor and control the performance of production lines and machinery, identifying and resolving operational issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures, ensuring all products meet HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED's rigorous standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with other shifts and departments to optimize overall plant efficiency and resolve inter-departmental issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Report on shift performance, challenges, and achievements to management.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Chemical) or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a production setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends) as required by operational demands.
  • A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
