Shift Engineer

Job Title : Shift Engineer

Department  : Control Room

Locations : Rabale, Navi Mumbai 

Experience : 0– 3 years of relevant experience

Qualification : Diplom in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. 

Willingness and ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends and holidays as per operational requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate and monitor CNG booster compressors through SCADA/IoT and control panels.

Monitor suction/discharge pressure, temperature, flow, oil pressure/level and compressor performance.

Perform compressor start-up, shutdown and ESD operations as per SOP.

Maintain required pressure, flow and safe operating conditions.

Attend and troubleshoot alarms, trips, gas leakage and electrical/instrumentation faults.

Coordinate with field operators, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.

Monitor compressor running hours, gas consumption/production and equipment performance.

Maintain shift logs, operational records, breakdown reports and shift handover details.

Report abnormal conditions, equipment failures and safety issues to the Shift In-Charge/Management.

Ensure safe, reliable and efficient compressor operation with minimum downtime.
