Shift Engineer - Injection Molding

Job brief :- Alpine Lifecare LLP is a medical plastics manufacturing facility based in Changodar, Ahmedabad where the company manufactures pharmaceutical vials, bottles ovals and other plastic items for pharmaceutical and medical device industry. www.alpinelifecare.com The role requires the shift engineer who is going to monitor injection moulding process, assists to trouble shooting the ongoing production, set the molds as per the production planning, achieve the production target and identifies key process parameter and control. Responsibilities: - Sets molds for production Records and maintains mold and process setup sheets. Assists in trouble shooting production processes Conducts cycle improvement Monitors production cycle times Daily Basis to achieve the production Target Identifies key process parameters for process monitoring and control Audits production processes for adherence to established setup Seeks opportunities for labour reduction and assists in implementation Monitors and post molding activities like pad printing, assembly and box packing Perform other related duties as assigned Ensures required process development information accompanies tooling Interpret processes received and makes necessary conversions for production equipment to be used Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: - 4-6 year's experience in injection molding processing; CIPET or Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on plastics processing desirable. Must have thorough understanding of injection molding process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment. Knowledge of ISO standards, SPC, TQM, and GMP's is desirable. Ability to understand and fill up daily production reports Must have operating knowledge about Shibaura, Milacron, Haitain Injection moulding machine Must have processing knowledge for plastic Raw material like PP, HDPE , LDPE LLDPE. Must have operating knowledge about Hot runner moulds like YUDO, MOULD MASTER, HUSKY and location hot runners. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts. Has planning and analytical skills; some knowledge of PC based computer software such as MS Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, and program management software Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime when necessary Working Hours It will be rotational shift, 1st shift:7 am to 4pm, 2nd shift: 2pm to 11pm, 3 shifts: 11 pm to 8 am
