Roles & Responsibilities :
Role Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSharePoint Development & Migration Lead/Architectto drive the end-to-end modernization of enterprise SharePoint environments, includingon-premises to SharePoint Online cloud migration. The role involves solution architecture, migration planning, modernization, governance, development oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. SharePoint Architecture & Strategy

  • Design and own the SharePoint solution architecture acrossOn-Prem (2010/2013/2016/2019)andMicrosoft 365 SharePoint Online.

  • Develop modernization strategy: site restructuring, content architecture, taxonomy, metadata, hubs.

  • Define governance frameworks, security models, compliance, and lifecycle management.

  • Evaluate third-party tools and recommend migration accelerators (ShareGate, Metalogix, Quest, AvePoint).

2. On-Prem to Cloud Migration

  • Lead planning, discovery, and assessment of existing SharePoint farms, custom solutions, workflows, lists, and integrations.

  • Build detailed migration roadmap, sequence, cut-over strategy, and risk mitigation.

  • Execute or oversee migration using tools such asShareGate / Metalogix / Quest.

  • Modernize legacy components: InfoPath forms, Nintex workflows, Designer workflows Power Apps, Power Automate.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and minimal downtime during migration.

3. SharePoint Development Leadership

  • Drive development of SharePoint customizations usingSPFx,React,CSOM/JSOM,PnP Framework,PowerShell, andAzure services.

  • Oversee creation of custom web parts, extensions, UI enhancements, and automation.

  • Review technical designs and ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices.

  • Lead a team of SharePoint/M365 developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

4. Microsoft 365 & Power Platform

  • Architect solutions usingSharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Viva, and integration across the M365 ecosystem.

  • Build scalable applications usingPower Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.

  • Enable collaboration solutions, provisioning templates, site automation (PnP).

5. Stakeholder & Project Leadership

  • Perform requirement gathering, workshops, UAT sessions, demos.

  • Manage client communication, expectations, and prioritization.

  • Create technical documentation - architecture diagrams, migration plans, design specs.

  • Ensure delivery excellence, project timelines, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 8-12+ years in SharePoint development, architecture, and administration.

  • Expertise inSharePoint OnlineandSharePoint On-Premenvironments.

  • Strong experience using:

    • SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript

    • PowerShell (PnP Cmdlets)

    • CSOM/JSOM, REST API, Graph API

    • Azure AD, Azure Functions, Logic Apps

    • Power Apps, Power Automate

  • Proven track record oflarge-scale migration projects(1,000+ sites or 5 TB+ content).

  • Deep understanding of site architecture, taxonomy, information governance, retention, DLP.

Architectural & Leadership Skills

  • Ability to architect end-to-end enterprise SharePoint solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and technical design capabilities.

  • Experience leading 5-20 member teams (onsite/offshore model preferred).

  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
