Job Title- SharePoint Administration with Power Platform
Location- Bangalore /Hyderabad
Experience: 6 to 15 years
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Administrator to own the administration, governance, security, and operational excellence of enterprise Microsoft 365 platforms. This role requires deep hands-on expertise across SharePoint Online and the Power Platform, with strong emphasis on governance, data privacy, automation, CI/CD, and platform lifecycle management. The administrator will act as a trusted technical partner to architecture, security, compliance, and development teams while ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
- SharePoint Online Administration
- Administer and support SharePoint Online at an enterprise scale, including site collections, permissions, storage, and lifecycle management
- Enforce SharePoint governance standards related to site provisioning, information architecture, access controls, and content lifecycle
- Support migrations, restructures, mergers, and reorganizations using approved tooling
- Monitor platform health, usage, and limits, proactively identifying risks and operational issues
- Manage orphaned sites, inactive content, and permission hygiene
Power Platform Administration & Governance
- Administer Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse) across Dev, Test/UAT, and Production
- Define and enforce Power Platform governance models, including environment strategy, intake processes, and application lifecycle controls
- Configure and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies aligned with enterprise data classification and privacy standards
- Manage connectors, environments, service principals, and platform security settings
- Review, approve, and oversee application deployments and retirements
CI/CD, Automation & DevOps Enablement
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions across environments
- Enable consistent deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub-based workflows
- Promote automation-first principles to reduce manual administrative effort and improve reliability
- Ensure environment consistency through scripted deployments and configuration management
Scripting, Tooling & Development Support
- Develop and maintain administrative and operational scripts using PowerShell
- Use PnP PowerShell extensively for SharePoint reporting, configuration, provisioning, and bulk operations
- Use Visual Studio Code as the primary scripting and automation environment
- Maintain reusable scripts, templates, and automation standards
Migration & Platform Tools
- Utilize ShareGate for SharePoint migrations, assessments, restructures, and advanced reporting
- Support pre-migration analysis, post-migration validation, cleanup, and permissions alignment
- Assist with tenant consolidation or separation activities as needed
Security, Data Privacy & Compliance
- Ensure platform use aligns with enterprise security, data privacy, and retention policies
- Integrate platform administration with Azure AD / Entra ID, security groups, and role-based access models
- Support auditing, usage reporting, and compliance validation initiatives
- Partner with security and legal teams on governance enforcement and risk mitigation
Platform Ownership & Operational Excellence
- Own environment and application lifecycle management, including provisioning, monitoring, and retirement
- Monitor usage, adoption, and platform risks with proactive recommendations
- Act as a trusted advisor on SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices
- Create and maintain governance documentation, administrative standards, and operational runbooks
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on enterprise experience administering SharePoint Online
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Administrator, including DLP, governance, and environment management
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts as applied to Power Platform and M365 solutions
- Strong experience with PowerShell and PnP PowerShell
- Hands-on experience using Visual Studio Code for scripting and automation
- Proven experience using ShareGate for SharePoint migration and administration tasks
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub for pipeline management
- Experience supporting Copilot and AI-enabled workloads within governed environments
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
