Job Description

Job Purpose:Provide technical services for implementation In-House Grinding Aids (GA) to improve clinker factor and cement performance across UTCL & ICL cement units. To drive new cement development & cost efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and schedule lab and plant trials for Grinding Aids (GA) for raw mills and cement mills in coordination with plant teams
2. Visit cement units to monitor and ensure proper execution of lab and plant trials as per plan
3. Ensure completion of all trials and successful implementation
4. Conduct chemical and physical analysis of clinker, cement and other input materials as per the development plan
5. Ensure timely completion of testing as per the scheduled plan
6. Prepare and submit draft reports to the reporting manager for review
7. Perform systematic calibration of identified laboratory instruments
8. Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards
9. Ensure availability and proper storage of raw materials required for trials and product development
10. Conduct trials related to Grinding Aid and admixture development for cement and concrete
11. Provide guidance to laboratory staff and plant personnel to enhance their technical competency
12. Supervise daily laboratory activities and ensure safety compliance
13. Comply with all company and statutory environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines
14. Manage and direct QC resources, operations, and facilities to ensure adherence to quality systems
