Job Context & Major Challenges
UltraTech Cement Limited, [Unit: Narmada Cement] Magdalla Works is a Grinding Unit of UltrTech Cement Limited, manufacturing is done at our Magdalla Plant by using clinker (semi-finish material).
The Magdalla Grinding Unit has been commissioned in the year 1982. The plant capacity per annum is 0.7 Million Tonnes. Our Magdalla plant is situated 16 KM from Surat railway station, in municipal area. Clinker, brought through the Ships is unloaded by grab bucket type un loader of 300 TPH capacity installed on Tapti river Jetty at Magdalla.We are producing two types of cement namely OPC 53 and PPC. Electronic Packers of capacity of 90 TPH.
Major challenges
To obtain the Compressive strength of cement, as specified internally, within the specified range of Blaine of cement.
- Supervise, monitor and control the quality of all receipt raw materials and finish products as per quality plan.
- Implement IMS & WCM related activities through involvement of team members in the section.
- Inventory Control of Raw Materials.
- Monitoring of DPR & Other Reports as & when required.
- Optimisation of Production Cost.
- Compliance of all requirements as per BIS & GPCB Norms.
- CSI Sustainability data Reporting
- Co- ordination with Marketing Dept. for Customer satisfaction & Feedback.
