Job Description
Responsible for handling outsourcing for Home Textile category.
Design and implement an effective sourcing strategy to reduce costs of financial products and manage all sourcing processes. Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee and develop win-win strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk & predict the upcoming demand in the business Responsible for making the sourcing plan as per calendar Developing the current supply base and explore new vendors based on their competencies, Price and strengths. Close follow-up with the Vendor to ensure the proper outcome from sampling, production, quality, testing, & packing departments. Ensure samples are arranged on time & development of new samples as per sales requirement Responsible for product costing & new product development as per business requirements & changes in market trends Ensure proper order execution to get targeted OTIF Responsible for achieve maximum efficiency by carrying out various outsourcing methods Coordinating with the other departments like merchandising, marketing and designing to obtain new ideas on the new developments Preparation of cut plan for optimization consumption Responsible for maintaining reconciliation of fabric at the end of each month Develops and maintains strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials
