The role involves assisting in equipment upkeep, resolving mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, and contributing to the smooth execution of mechanical engineering projects within mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of mechanical engineering tasks
- Conduct equipment inspections and ensure operational readiness
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for repairs
- Collaborate with senior engineers and train junior team members
- Uphold safety, quality, and teamwork culture on site
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in equipment maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and project support in industrial or mining environments
- Strong analytical and coordination skills in industrial environments
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly across teams
