Job Purpose

This position is for Sarlanagar Cement Works, Sedam

Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/ Manager

JB 10

Key Result Areas

Supporting Actions

Implement personnel policies judiciously to the satisfaction of Management and employees from time to time.

Make employees aware about various personnel policies in place. Screen all relevant claims in accordance with the eligibility criterion prescribed in various personnel policies. Recommend for approval of all eligible claims.

Accommodation and Furniture:

Assist superior in smooth allotment of accommodation and distribution of furniture at offices and residential blocks of township.

Assist Superior in:
Allotment of accommodation at Staff/WB at Colony.
Co-ordinate maintenance activities and prepare and issue allotment letters to the allottees.
Planning, Budgeting and distribution of furniture at offices and township quarters.
Raising PR, outside furniture inspection visit at vendors site.
Distribution of furniture items.
Completion of discard formalities to dispose off condemn furniture.

Implement the provisions of wage board agreement from time to time.

Effect annual increments in accordance with the existing agreement. Ensure on time servicing of all relevant benefits to the employees.

Industrial relations

Organize and Coordinating shopfloor programs like ER Dosti. Monitor and resolve grievances received during the visits.

Organize regular contractor meetings and resolve any ongoing issues.

Liaison with Union, workmen, contractors and local people for collecting the feedback about their perception.

Initiate disciplinary action on any workmen in violation of Standing Orders Act, Industrial Relation Act or any other such law.

Providing inputs on labour/union activities to the Top Management.

Resolve all minor issues at shopfloor level to ensure no disruption to production on account of IR issues

Welfare

Prepare the annual ER budget for various welfare amenities like Canteen, PPE etc.

Monitor the management of Industrial Canteen on a regular basis and ensure the quality of food & services offered

Monitor timely distribution of welfare items like uniform, shoes, gum boots etc., to eligible contract workmen

Monitor distribution of Tea & Snack coupons without any discrepancies

Ensure all welfare initiatives notified by Government are administered as per the law including EDLI, ESIC, PMGKY etc.

Disciplinary Actions against Workmen as per Standing Order

After getting complaint against the workmen by the concerned DHs, we are initiating disciplinary proceedings based on the gravity of the misconduct.

System Management
(Effective implementation of IMS and other systems requirements through involvement for continuous improvement in plant working condition & quality standards)

To implement improvement project to reduce repetitive problems/breakdown or losses.

Timely submission of Kaizen, OPL, Good to fine, suggestion on system

To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for non-conformity in section during internal and external audits or assessments.

Implementation of critical spares & consumable SOP without any defilement

Time Office

Actively coordinate in smooth Time Office operations by timely preparation of monthly salaries, compliance of statutory provisions and completion of various salary accounting activities to ensure employee satisfaction through error free and timely payroll operations.

Administration

Facilitate Hospitality services to the VIP's, visitors, guests, new entrants at Basantkunj Guest House, Ajanta Guest House, White House, Indraprashta and in the township and ensure the 100% guest satisfaction. And coordinate with various events at Plant and Township for arrangements of food & beverages.
