Job Purpose
This position is for Basantnagar Cement Works, Telangana
Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/ Manager

Key ResultAreas | Supporting Actions |
Industrial relations: | - Organise and Coordinating shopfloor programs. Monitor and resolve grievances received during the visits
- Organise regular contractor meetings and resolve any ongoing issues
- Liason with Union, workmen, contractors and local people for collecting the feedback about their perception
- Initiate disciplinary action on any workmen in violation of Standing Orders Act, Industrial Relation Act or any other such law
- Providing inputs on labour/union activities to the Top Management
- Resolve all minor issues at shopfloor level to enusre no disruption to production on account of IR issues

Welfare: | - Prepare the annual ER budget for various welfare amenities like Canteen, PPE etc
- Montior the management of Industrial Canteen on a regular basis and ensure the quality of food & services offered
- Monitortimely distribution of welfare items like uniform, shoes , gum boots etc., to eligible contract workmen
- Monitordistribution of Tea & Snack coupons without any discrepancies
- Ensure all welfare initiatives notified by Government are admisitered as per the law including EDLI, ESIC, PMGKY etc.

Statutory Compliances | - Submission of all returns (Quarterly, Half-Yearly & Annually) under various Labour Laws with appropriate authorities
- Renewal of Licenses (Factory License, Canteen etc.) and ensure all the contractors possess a valid license as per CLRA
- Monitoring of statutory complianes of contractors like remittance of PF,ESIC challans, Payment of Bonus, Gratutity etc.
- Monitor all the processes related to hiring and admisitration of wages of Apprentices as per the identified limit of Unit by the Apprenticeship Advisor

Billing, Wage Rates & Compliance Management | - Monitor all the Supply CL bills and ensure that they are checked for rates and compliance adherence
- Monitor all the BSR bills and ensure that they are checked for compliances
- Update the wage rates in SAP & KRONOS on a periodic manner based on the VDA increments, local settlements and ensure adherence to minimum wages act.
- Ensure that all the workmen are paid on time by following up with contractors
- Ensure all the records and forms are maintained by the contractors in a manner as prescribed under various laws
- Ensure timely payment of wages, gratuity, full & final settlements etc.

System Management (Effective implementation of KRONOS, SAP, IMS and other systems requirements through involvement for continuous improvement in plant working condition & quality standards) | - Ensure proper management of KRONOS (contract workforce management system)
- Reguar review of Kronos Terminals as well as the manpower registered under Kronos.
- Monitor the non-essential temporary contract workmen on a regular basis
- Prepare reports related to contract labout including ER-MIS, MPR report, weekly COO report & weekly ER review reports
- Ensure that any rate updation is reflected on SAP
- Timely submission of Kaizen, Near Miss, Safety Obseravations etc. on system
- Develop and sustain Model area in ER section
- 100% active participation in respective KFA & GRT meetings and giving inputs related to bring new technology, innovation and improvements towards productivity.
