Job Description

Job Purpose

The job involves to monitor smooth process data and perform process control as per production targets and KPI's in Bauxite Handling and Grinding units. Also to provide Process engineering support to innovate, plan, design, implement and monitor performance of these area in Red Side of Alumina Refinery. The job involves to provide expertise, optimization, process control, safety focus, and continuous improvement, all of which will contribute to the overall efficiency, productivity, and success of the alumina refinery.

To monitor Effective delivery of efficiencies, volumes, quality and consumption factors

To identify improvement opportunities through data analyses and interaction with process

experts: conceptualize and implement process improvement projects to continually improve

production capabilities and efficiency factors and also, to Prepare and maintain MIS system

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities	Supporting Actions
Business Excellence	Achieving daily, monthly, quarterly and annual process parameters as per P&B. Maintaining Plant performance indicators within the limit in Pthe area. Ensuring bauxite inventory as per plan by close co-ordination with Mines and O&M team. Implementing Process improvement.
Cost	Participating and Ensuring cost saving initiatives in the area without compromise in quality by driving continuous process improvement. New vendor and product development by conducting lab and plant trials.
Cash	Achieving optimum inventory levels to impact on working capital Achieving Specific power requirement and rod charging the target through implementing various Energy saving initiatives and approaches.
Customer	Maintaining strong relationships with Mines and downstream internal key customers to foster strong customer relation. Interacting Control room in-charge, duty officer, shift Incharge and laboratory for real time process data and quality control parameters and providing technical support.
Sustainability & Compliance	Driving sustainability initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste, and support the refinery's overall sustainability goals. Promoting and integrating best practices for resource conservation and environmental stewardship within the team.
Safety	Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards within the area. Implementing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring safety equipment and controls are in place and maintained to prevent accidents and incidents.
People Development & Engagement	Providing technical training to new incumbent and O&M counterparts. Imparting training to Shop floor operators.
