SFRA Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend features using the SFRA framework, including controllers, middleware, services, and jobs.

Implement composable commerce architecture by integrating SFCC with headless systems, APIs, and microservices.

Build and manage business logic and integrations using SCAPI (Shopper APIs) and OCAPI (Shop and Data APIs).

Configure and manage site settings through Business Manager, including catalogs, promotions, pricing, and site preferences.

Develop reusable cartridges, services, and API layers for integrations with payment gateways, OMS, CRM, analytics, and other third-party systems.

Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues across staging and production environments.

Collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, QA teams, and product stakeholders to deliver complete solutions.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and documentation activities.

Follow Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
