Role Description This is a full-time, remote SFMC QA (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) contract role for 6 months. The SFMC QA specialist will be responsible for validating email campaigns, journeys, automations, and data extensions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure flawless execution and adherence to requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical and functional specifications, creating and executing test cases, performing regression and UAT testing, and documenting defects with clear, reproducible steps. The role will involve close collaboration with SFMC developers, campaign managers, and marketing operations teams to verify data accuracy, segmentation logic, personalization, and deliverability. The SFMC QA specialist will also contribute to improving QA processes, creating test documentation, and ensuring that all SFMC deployments meet quality standards, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance experience, including creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and regression testing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud assets.
- Hands-on Quality Control skills to validate data, content, personalization, tracking, and rendering across devices and email clients.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including documentation practices, defect lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Experience with Quality Auditing activities such as reviewing implementation against requirements, standards, and best practices within SFMC.
- Understanding of compliance and governance concepts similar to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), adapted to data privacy, consent management, and marketing compliance in digital environments.
- Practical experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions); familiarity with AMPscript or SQL is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional, global teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
