SFMC Developer

Your Role

As anSFMC CDP Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce Customer Data Platform solutions to help the organization unify customer data, drive personalization at scale, and enable impactful marketing automation. You will work closely with marketing, data, and technology stakeholders to build a 360° customer view and ensure seamless integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing and implementingSalesforce CDP data models, using Data Streams, Data Bundles, and Identity Resolution rules.
• Building and maintainingcustomer profiles, segmentation frameworks, and real-time audience activation.
• Integrating CDP withSalesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and external data sources.
• Ensuringdata quality, governance, and compliancewith organizational and regulatory standards (GDPR, privacy policies).
• Enablingcross-cloud personalizationby activating unified customer data for journeys, campaigns, and analytics.
• Collaborating with marketing and data teams to translate business requirements intoscalable technical solutions.
• Monitoring platform performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows and segmentation logic.
• Supportingdata strategy initiatives, including ingestion pipelines, identity stitching, and consent management.

Your Profile

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CDP architecture, capabilities, and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and convert them into actionable insights for marketing and customer experience.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data, Marketing, and IT.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Salesforce certifications such asMarketing Cloud Administrator, CDP Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultantare a plus

Top 5 Technical Skills Required

1. Salesforce CDP (Customer Data Platform)
   Experience with Data Ingestion, Data Streams, Identity Resolution, Calculated Insights, Unified Profiles, and Activation Targets.
2. Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
   Experience with Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Automations, and data relationships.
3. Data Modeling & Integration
   Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, API integrations (REST/SOAP), and real-time or batch data ingestion.
4. SQL & Query Development
   Ability to write advanced SQL queries for segmentation, data transformations, and troubleshooting within SFMC.
5. Data Governance & Privacy Compliance
   Understanding of consent management, data retention, governance frameworks, and regulations like GDPR/CCPA.
