Job Description
The SFDC Integration Developer is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in APIs, Apex callouts, and integration frameworks to ensure seamless data flow across systems. The developer plays a critical role in making Salesforce a fully connected platform within the organization's IT ecosystem.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain point‑to‑point integrations and API interfaces between Salesforce and external applications.
- Design, build, and manage secure and scalable REST/SOAP APIs for smooth data exchange with Salesforce.
- Develop custom integration logic using Apex callouts to interact with third-party systems including ERPs, marketing tools, and legacy databases.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure reliable and transparent data synchronization.
- Collaborate with integration architects and MuleSoft developers to ensure seamless integration handoffs between custom code and middleware.
- Manage Salesforce platform limits related to callouts, API consumption, and performance.
- Document integration workflows, API specifications, and data mappings for ongoing maintenance and future scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data inconsistencies, performance issues, and real-time integration failures.
- Ensure Salesforce operates as a connected hub within the enterprise ecosystem through high‑quality integration solutions.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience developing integrations on the Salesforce platform.
- Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs, including designing, developing, and securing endpoints.
- Hands-on experience with Apex callouts, asynchronous processing, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms (preferred).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERPs, marketing systems, and other third-party enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce limits, API governance, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize data flows.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for describing integration points and technical specifications.
