Role & Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT test suites for SFCC storefronts and cartridge integrations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise automated test suites using JavaScript-based frameworks (Cypress / Selenium), ensuring reliable, reusable automation scripts.
- Validate REST APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, OMS, PIM) using Postman and automated API tests; verify data integrity across systems.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), schedule regression runs, and analyse test reports to drive release decisions.
- Triaging defects: create clear bug reports in JIRA, reproduce issues, work with developers on root-cause analysis, and verify fixes pre-release.
- Maintain QA artefacts test plans, test cases, automation framework documentation, and quality metrics that reduce production defects.
