Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead – Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-level ecommerce solutions. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, driving SFCC best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing commerce platforms.

Experience:

6+ Years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce) development

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SFCC development and implementation activities for B2C ecommerce platforms
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to SFCC development teams
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Design and develop SFCC solutions using SFRA architecture
• Work extensively with:
• Cartridges
• Controllers
• Models
• ISML Templates
• Hooks
• Jobs Framework
• Business Manager
• Develop and maintain custom ecommerce features and enhancements
• Design and support integrations with external systems:
• Payment gateways
• OMS
• ERP
• CRM
• Third-party APIs
• Implement and manage OCAPI / SCAPI integrations
• Perform code reviews and ensure SFCC development best practices
• Troubleshoot application issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Perform performance optimization and application tuning
• Support deployment activities across multiple environments
• Collaborate with architects, QA teams, business teams, and stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth

Required Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / B2C Commerce)
• Strong experience with SFRA framework

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD deployment processes
• Understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud security and performance best practices

Lead Responsibilities:

• Own technical delivery of SFCC projects
• Review technical designs and provide recommendations
• Guide developers on implementation approaches
• Ensure coding standards and quality practices
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams
• Handle technical discussions with clients and stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer / Architect certification
• Experience with SiteGenesis to SFRA migration
• Experience working on enterprise-level ecommerce implementations
• Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem integrations
