Description
We are seeking an experienced Sewage Treatment Plant Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sewage treatment processes, and will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction and operation of sewage treatment facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the construction of sewage treatment facilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of sewage treatment systems
- Analyze data related to sewage treatment processes and develop improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders on project development
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project progress
- Train and supervise junior engineers and operational staff
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 8-15 years of experience in sewage treatment plant design and operation
- Strong knowledge of sewage treatment processes and technologies
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards in India
- Proficient in software tools related to engineering design (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Project management experience is a plus
