- Review and formulation of conceptual drawing, Layout, GA drawings and other documents in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Plan and identify consolidated needs for the project and provide budget estimates for the identified capex.
- Review and Monitor the development of the conceptual layout, GA and plot plan and analyze the same for the proposed project in totality.
- Review and implementation of schedule and the quality of the proposed work and recommend to SET Leader for further actions.

Basic & Detail Engineering - To plan and review development of basic and detailed engineering drawings for construction point of view as per project schedule. | - Review and monitor the work priorities and schedule of drawings.
- Review and assign work as per resource availability.
- Plan & Monitor the development of Schematic, Layout, GA and detailed drawings , BOM, equipment specifications as per project need. Review and endorse the same to SET Leader for further approvals.
- Collaborate with concerned stakeholders for planning all relevant equipment / auxiliaries inputs required for the main projects.
- To ensure all standards are incorporated.
- Plan and implement engineering support to other clusters as and when required
- To adopt best and innovative practices as part of continual improvements to achieve excellence in project engineering.

Project & Material Management Integration of Mechanical engineering with all disciplines, customers (plants) and execution team and procurement of quality materials within specified time frame and allocated budget for smooth and timely implementation of the project.
| - To Plan & Implement Project Management of Mechanical Design and Engineering activities in line with projects completion schedule and handing over the same to the entire satisfaction of our customers.
- To Plan & Ensure timely supply of necessary engineering information(s) to other engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation, Piping etc.) to enable them to proceed further detailed engineering to provide relevant construction drawings and documents for the projects.
- Regular project reviews with plants (Customer) for ensuring timely inputs and feedbacks for smooth execution of the project.
- Close coordination with project execution team in order to resolve issues / Trouble Shooting (especially brown field issues) timely at site to avoid Rework and cost.
- Plan, monitor and control the mitigation of Complexity and Criticality during our engineering stage.
- Plan & implement the timely technical evaluations and finalization of technical recommendations for equipment procurement as per our required quality and specifications.

Sustainability - To develop sustainability initiatives as per unit requirements | - To plan the development of Piping design and engineering solutions for projects identified under sustainability measures for long term sustenance.
For example, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), structural stability, De-congestion initiatives etc. - To plan and review the digitization of old and legacy drawings and manuals for long term sustenance.
