ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Service Technician – Mechanic (Fresher), you will support maintenance and servicing activities of aeronautical tooling and ground support equipment. This is a hands-on technical role where you will learn to inspect, repair, test, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems under guidance of senior technicians and engineers.
You will gain exposure to real-time workshop operations, diagnostics, quality checks, and customer service support in the aviation tooling domain.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Assist in inspection, servicing, and basic maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic tooling equipment.
- Support diagnostics of equipment issues under supervision of senior technicians.
- Learn dismantling, assembly, adjustment, and calibration of tools and equipment.
- Perform functional checks and basic testing of repaired equipment.
- Support load testing and quality inspection before dispatch.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool arrangement, and safety compliance.
- Help in documentation and ERP updates for work orders and service records.
- Assist in packing and preparing equipment for customer delivery.
- Participate in on-site service visits with experienced technicians when required.
- Follow technical instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
REQUIREMENT
- Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (Mandatory)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read technical drawings (preferred)
- Good hands-on attitude and willingness to work in workshop environment
- Basic knowledge of tools and measuring instruments
- Technical English reading skills (preferred)
- Eagerness to learn diagnostics and repair techniques
- Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work
