Services Estimation & Solutioning Manager

Position Summary

The Services Estimation & Solutioning Manager is responsible for defining, sizing, costing, pricing, and documenting professional services opportunities across Sycomp's portfolio. This role acts as the bridge between Sales, Engineering, PMO, Integration Centers, and Service Delivery teams to ensure customer solutions are accurately scoped, financially sound, and operationally executable.

The position will lead the development of labor estimates, project assumptions, statements of work (SOWs), resource plans, and service pricing models while supporting strategic customer pursuits and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

Services Solutioning

• Review customer requirements, RFPs, RFQs, and SOW requests
• Lead services discovery sessions with customers and account teams
• Define scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and exclusions
• Develop implementation and deployment approaches

Estimation & Pricing

• Create labor estimates for professional services engagements
• Build work breakdown structures and resource plans
• Develop project cost models and customer pricing
• Validate profitability and margin objectives
• Partner with Finance and Operations on pricing approvals

Proposal & SOW Development

• Create Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Develop services proposals and scope documents
• Define project deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Support RFP responses and customer presentations

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Engineering, PMO, Integration Centers, Service Desk, Managed Services, and Logistics & Warehouse Operations
• Validate delivery feasibility and identify project risks

Services Portfolio Management

• Maintain services catalogs
• Develop standard estimation models
• Create reusable proposal and SOW templates
• Establish pricing standards and sizing methodologies

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5–10+ years of professional services, consulting, or solutioning experience
• Experience with infrastructure, cloud, deployment, or managed services projects
• Strong understanding of labor estimation and project costing
• Ability to translate customer requirements into executable service solutions
• Comfortable supporting large enterprise and strategic customer opportunities
• Experience working for a VAR, systems integrator, MSP, or consulting organization
