Job Title: Director Consulting for Digital Twin- Enterprise Visualisation ( AOC, System Platform M&C) at Global Delivery Centre India

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full time. regular, hybrid work arrangement

The job

This position is responsible for the Director Consulting, in India providing project delivery services to customers in collaboration with regional delivery centres.

AVEVA Software is looking for a competent leader to be based at their Hyderabad, India Office and manage the team of highly competent team of Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, Resource Managers, Lead Engineers, Application Consultants related AVEVA Operations Control, System Platform Enterprise, SCADA and Visualisation. This role will require working in AVEVA Global Services India team and enabling the seamless large/distributed solution deliveries across all the regions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a customer focused organization through an unmatched Domain, Product and Application Culture throughout delivery of customer focused projects

  • Drive the group towards best-in-class customer facing service delivery organization through continuous improvement and aligned to AVEVA Values

  • High quality deliverables aligning to delivery schedule and with improved Gross Margins, to the customer through the regions/sub-regions with emphasis on stakeholder management.

  • Supports Cross-functional delivery teams with guidance on complex implementations, with the deep domain knowledge and delivery experience.

  • Ensure the quality of delivery projects as part of the QMS, standardize the remote engineering & delivery process including estimators, templates etc. and provide out of the box ideas to develop tools/applications to optimize delivery cycle.

  • Establish teams growth strategies based on the projections and work with Global Practice & the leadership to achieve the business and the functional KPI's.

  • Supports across sales and technical sales organization through sales pursuits and act as sales enabler function.

Apart from the above project delivery expectations the role is also expected to participate in strategic business initiatives and help overall business as business enabler.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven leadership skills, deep understanding of process industry and enterprise solution delivery.

Essential requirements

  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation engineering/ Electrical-Electronics Engineering/Computer Science Engineering or related field

  • 18+ years of progressively responsible experience with handling large teams in Industrial Engineering Software firms

  • Experience in delivering customer solutions involving AVEVA Unified Operations Center/System Platform Enterprise, SCADA & historian in the large-scale projects, integrating real-time (OT) and non-real-time (IT) systems

  • Experience with managing cross functional stake holders, coming up with vision and mission for the growth of the large teams

  • Fluent in English read/write/speak

  • Ability and flexibility to travel 40%
