Moveworks Technical Consultant & Engineer – Job Description

Location: Chennai preferred or Bangaluru optional

Department: Professional Services & AI Solutions

Reports To: Sr. Director of Consulting

Compensation: $18K to $35K depending on background & seniority

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Moveworks Technical Consultant & Engineer who blends deep technical expertise with practical solution delivery. This role leads technical design, implementation, and optimization of Moveworks deployments for enterprise customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Solution Design

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows using Moveworks

• Integrate Moveworks with platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Okta, Azure AD, Workday, Slack, and Teams

• Configure intents, entities, conversational flows, and automations

Implementation & Deployment

• Lead hands-on configuration, onboarding, and go-lives

• Build and manage integrations using APIs and webhooks

• Troubleshoot authentication, data, and workflow issues

Customization & Optimization

• Customize agents beyond out-of-the-box capabilities

• Analyze telemetry and usage metrics to improve automation accuracy

• Support upgrades and feature rollouts

Customer Engagement & Enablement

• Lead technical discovery sessions

• Present technical designs and conduct enablement sessions

• Provide documentation and runbooks

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• Partner with product, delivery, and pre-sales teams

• Support scoping and technical proposal responses

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years enterprise software or systems integration experience

• Experience with AI platforms, automation, or conversational interfaces

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems and APIs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Direct Moveworks experience

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation

• Exposure to NLU or ML workflows
