Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Role – ServiceNow Sr Developer with ServiceNow AI skills

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications using server-side and client-side scripting.
  • Implement and maintain business rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.
  • Develop automation using Flow Designer, Decision Tables, and IntegrationHub.
  • Build and maintain Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data normalization logic for ingesting data from multiple external sources.
  • Implement and customize SLA definitions, Task SLAs, pause logic, and SLA-related calculations.
  • Configure and extend ServiceNow AI and automation features, including:
  • Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)
  • Now Assist / Now LLM (prompt configuration and orchestration)
  • Predictive Intelligence (classification, similarity, clustering where applicable)
  • Develop custom logic for exception handling, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Build reusable components and frameworks to support dynamic rule execution and data validation.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub spokes.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
  • Support unit testing, system testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
  • Adhere to coding standards, documentation practices, and platform governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Core ServiceNow Development

  • 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Extensive experience with:
  • Business Rules
  • Script Includes
  • Client Scripts
  • UI Policies and UI Actions
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and table relationships.
  • Experience on ServiceNow AI & automation capabilities and experience on configuring and extending ServiceNow AI and automation features, including:
  • Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)
  • Now Assist / Now LLM (prompt configuration and orchestration)
  • Predictive Intelligence (classification, similarity, clustering where applicable)
