Description and Requirements
The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for the overall design, governance, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. This role ensures the ServiceNow Platform is implemented in a scalable, secure, and upgrade-safe manner while aligning technical architecture with business objectives. The ServiceNow Architect will work closely with clients to understand their architectural requirements, design and customize processes based on client requirements and platform feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on process and procedures for various modules within the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow designs
- Drive innovation through AI-enabled capabilities such as Now Assist, ServiceNow AI Platform, and Agentic AI.
- Should have experience on ServiceNow portal and widget development
- Define platform standards, architectural patterns, and best practices
- Review and approve technical designs, scripts, data models, and integration approaches
- Drive platform performance, security, and scalability
- Design and oversee integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and third-party tools
- Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow's Now Platform roadmap and upgrade strategy
- Support presales activities, including solution demos and technical proposals [Preferred]
- Mentor developers and technical consultants
- Partner with stakeholders, product owners, and business leaders to drive platform value
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of ServiceNow platform experience
- 2+ years in an architecture or technical lead role
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow Modules, data model, CMDB, Flow Designer, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Now Assist, Agentic AI, ServiceNow portal, angular js
- Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
- Strong knowledge of integration architecture and security best practices
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- ServiceNow Certifications: Mandatory - Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist in any of the ServiceNow Modules. Preferred - Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Experience with at least two of the following ServiceNow Modules - ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM
