Job Description – ServiceNow Senior BCM Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Senior BCM Developer with strong expertise in implementing Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience delivering end-to-end BCM stories, including BIA, continuity planning, crisis management, automation, and integrations, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions that build client confidence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow BCM Development:
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow BCM applications, modules, and functionalities to meet business requirements and align with architectural best practices.
  • BCM Solution Implementation:
  • Implement end-to-end BCM solutions including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP), IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR), and Crisis Management to ensure organizational resilience.
  • Foundation Data Configuration:
  • Configure and maintain BCM foundational data including business services, applications, processes, dependencies, critical assets, and recovery teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Workflow & Automation Development:
  • Develop and optimize workflows, Flow Designer solutions, and automation processes for plan lifecycle management, approvals, notifications, and testing.
  • Plan Lifecycle Management:
  • Configure and manage the complete lifecycle of BCM plans including creation, review, approval, testing, and activation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Integration Development:
  • Design and implement integrations between BCM and enterprise systems (CMDB, ITSM modules, and external tools) using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub for seamless data exchange.
  • CMDB & Service Mapping Alignment:
  • Align BCM data models with CMDB and Service Mapping to ensure accurate dependency mapping and impact analysis.
  • Data Migration & Management:
  • Execute data migration using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scripts to onboard BCM data from legacy systems while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analytics Development:
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics solutions to provide visibility into BCM compliance, plan status, testing outcomes, and crisis response metrics.
  • Governance, Security & Compliance:
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), ACLs, and security controls to ensure data protection and compliance with standards such as ISO 22301 and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable BCM solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Quality Assurance & Best Practices:
  • Perform code reviews, follow ServiceNow development best practices, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
