Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior / Lead ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in
ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) to design, develop, and deliver security-focused solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across
Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence, along with deep scripting and integration capabilities. This role involves technical leadership, customer interaction, mentoring junior team members, and driving high-quality delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow SecOps Development
- Lead design and implementation of ServiceNow SecOps modules, including:
- Security Incident Response (SIR)
- Vulnerability Response (VR)
- Threat Intelligence (TI)
- Customize and enhance out-of-the-box (OOB) SecOps functionalities.
- Design and build custom security workflows and automations.
Service Catalog & Workflow Automation
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog items for security use cases.
- Build dynamic forms, workflows, and automations using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
Scripting & Integrations
- Develop client-side and server-side scripts using JavaScript, including:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- Scheduled Jobs
- Design and implement REST and SOAP integrations with third-party security tools and platforms.
Security & Governance
- Implement RBAC, ACLs, and secure development best practices.
- Ensure compliance with platform governance and configuration management standards.
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Interpret functional and technical designs to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and reduce defects through proactive quality checks.
- Perform defect RCA, identify trends, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support effort estimation, planning, and release management.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with SOC teams, security analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Present technical designs, conduct demos, and clarify requirements with customers.
- Mentor junior developers and support team upskilling and engagement.
