The ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Consultant will implement, configure, and optimize the organization's security posture using the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on automating security workflows, managing vulnerabilities, integrating security tools, and ensuring alignment with ITSM processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow Security Operations suites, specifically Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.
- Develop and configure automated workflows and orchestration to accelerate incident response and remediation times.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between SecOps modules and external security tools (e.g., SIEMs, Threat Intelligence Platforms, vulnerability scanners) using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Customize the platform to meet security requirements using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow between SecOps and core ITSM modules (Incident, Change) for accurate threat context.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor key security KPIs, track remediation progress, and support compliance reporting.
Experience Requirements
- 23 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing ServiceNow Security Operations (SIR/VR) modules.
- Overall experience of 3 8 years in enterprise software systems.
- Strong understanding of core ServiceNow platform features, architecture, and ITSM processes.
Preferred Certifications
- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Highly Desirable: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Security Operations (CIS-SIR/VR)
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification
