ServiceNow ITOM Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. The role involves building scalable solutions, integrating third-party applications, and enhancing existing ServiceNow capabilities to support enterprise IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM applications.
• Configure and implement ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Automate IT operations processes using ServiceNow best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ServiceNow platform performance.
• Document technical solutions and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Strong experience in ServiceNow customization and development.
• Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Flow Designer and ServiceNow automation.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IntegrationHub and MID Server.
• ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage.
