Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
ServiceNow FSO (Financial Services Operations) Developer/Consultant to design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions for banking and financial services clients. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
ServiceNow platform capabilities, FSO modules, workflow automation, and integration with enterprise systems.
The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient financial service management solutions.
Key Responsibilities Platform Development & Configuration
- Design and implement solutions using ServiceNow Financial Services Operations (FSO) modules.
- Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and automation processes.
- Customize ServiceNow applications based on client requirements.
FSO Implementation
- Implement ServiceNow FSO capabilities for banking and financial services workflows.
- Support case management, account onboarding, customer service operations, and dispute management processes.
- Ensure alignment with financial industry compliance and standards.
Integration & API Development
- Develop and manage integrations with external banking and enterprise systems.
- Work with REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
- Handle data synchronization and event-driven integrations.
Workflow & Process Automation
- Automate financial service processes using Flow Designer and Workflow Engine.
- Improve operational efficiency through platform optimization.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management within ServiceNow.
Collaboration
- Work with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or consulting
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow FSO (Financial Services Operations)
- Strong knowledge of:
- ServiceNow ITSM / CSM / FSO modules
- Flow Designer & Workflow Engine
- Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies
- Experience in JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting)
- Experience with REST / SOAP API integrations
- Understanding of financial services workflows (banking, insurance, fintech)
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and case management processes
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow CSA / CIS certifications
- Experience with banking or financial domain clients
- Knowledge of IntegrationHub and MID Server
- Experience with Service Portal / UI Builder
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
